Switching from EZRentOut, in detail.
Will we lose our barcode workflow?+
Today, yes. GoGo Engine records an asset tag and a serial number for each unit, but it does not print barcode labels or scan them. If scanning runs your counter, talk to us before you switch.
Can customers book inside a widget on our site?+
Not inside the widget. GoGo Engine’s widgets show your catalog, a search bar and a price estimate on your site, and the Book button opens the item’s booking page on your own website. Your website address needs to be on your GoGo Engine account for that to work, and it cannot be added from the dashboard yet.
How does the migration handle our custom fields?+
There is no import tool today, so custom fields are not mapped automatically.
Can we run both systems during transition?+
Yes. You can keep EZRentOut read-only while you set up GoGo Engine.
