Ready to go out
Before a pickup, GoGo Engine shows whether the waiver is signed, the balance is paid, the security hold is in place and photos are taken. A required waiver that is not signed stops the pickup on the server.
Photograph the unit when it goes out and when it comes back, stop a pickup until a required waiver is signed, and walk every return through the same inspection. The photos stay on the booking, grouped by pickup and return.

Take baseline photos with the phone camera, and for serialised items assign the exact unit and record its condition at handover.
A five-step return wizard rates the condition of each area, records return photos and any late, fuel, cleaning or damage charges, and sends units returned in poor condition to maintenance.
Pickup and return photos are stored privately with who took them and when, and shown on the booking as at pickup and at return.
A damage charge cannot be added until the return has a photo, and damage above the deposit needs a manager.
A daily job adds a pending late fee to overdue returns, which the return wizard fills in and staff can waive.
A damaged return keeps the security hold. A clean return can release it on the spot, or a daily job releases it later, and the customer is told when it is released.
The dashboard runs in a phone browser, and the photo picker opens the camera.
Check-out, check-in, photos and deposit releases are written to the booking’s activity history.
